OTF (short for Out-The-Front) means the blade deploys and retracts straight out of the front of the handle with the push of a switch. Unlike folding knives, which swing open on a pivot, OTFs use a spring-loaded, double-action mechanism that makes them quick to deploy and easy to stow.

OTF stands for “Out The Front”. Instead of opening from the side, the blade slides straight out from the handle with the push of a thumb slide.
It stays safely locked when closed, opens fast when needed, and is far more useful than a spring-assisted spoon.

Really love this knife. The D2 steel has a awesome factory edge and really blemish free. The mechanism and body is very solid and has that nice push in and out that you look for. I own many very expensive knives and I would put this knife...
After finding out, this guy had Chinese parts, And his masking everything like an American company, He blocked my chat so I can have no communication, Also, he’s letting the charge penned still six days later, Keep it up and you’ll have a lawsuit.
